EMMANUEL ADEBAYO ADEYEMI

Emmanuel Adebayo Adeyemi, a recycling visual artist and a painter, inspired by his father and his mucky environment. El Bayo is on a mission to redeem earth off her dirt, recreate her and achieve a beautiful life out of her.

Each work he creates often consists of multiple works, often with the use of selected waste or found materials such as; woods, ropes, fibres (frames off cut), bamboos, styrofoams, tins, dumped clothes, cardboard rollers,old furnitures and other recycled materials. The use of these media for his installation is inspired by his father and the mucky environments in Lagos,Nigeria. As as a visual artist, he seeks to redeem a major part of Lagos off its waste products, to recreate these waste through art and achieve a pleasant waste free environment for the people living within the vicinity.
