Chic Chic Umah is the Director of Operations & Performance at Retro Africa, where she oversees the gallery's operational strategy, project management, and organizational performance. With a background in curatorial practice, gallery management, and cultural project leadership, she works across exhibitions, artist relations, partnerships, and process optimization to ensure the efficient delivery of the gallery's programmes.

Holding an MBA in Arts & Culture Management from IESA Paris, Chic Chic brings international experience spanning Europe and Africa, with expertise in exhibition production, stakeholder engagement, operational systems, and strategic planning. She is committed to building sustainable structures that support the gallery's growth while fostering collaboration, accountability, and excellence across teams.
